Abigail Woolhouse CTMA

Director, Head of TMs/Copyright, Principal TM Attorney CTMA

Abigail joined Stratagem in 2005 and is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney. She began her career in private practice, moving to ICI in 1999, taking on responsibility for various trade mark portfolios within the ICI Group and management of the domain name portfolio.

Since working for Stratagem, Abigail has provided strategic advice in the fields of trade marks, copyright, domain names and agreements to individuals, start-ups, SMEs and international companies, with the advice always being tailored to the business plan of each client.

Abigail has advised several acquisitions and disposals and is responsible for Agreement Management within Stratagem.

Now Head of Trade Marks, Abigail has also been involved in resolving many disputes and remains committed to resolving conflicts by agreement rather than taking a purely contentious line.

Known for her common sense and invaluable advice, Abigail is always willing to share her experience through training and presentations.

Yvette Spring BProc (UNISA)

Yvette is a Law graduate from the University of South Africa and a registered UK Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney.

Yvette has experience in all areas of trade mark law. She has worked with companies and individuals ranging from large multinationals to small business start-ups and charities. She assists on a wide range of UK, European Union and International trade mark portfolios. In addition, she has experience handling UK and European Customs registrations and anti-counterfeiting matters, trade marks with Amazon registration, and complaints to the Company Names Tribunal.

Yvette’s work largely focuses on trade mark prosecution, including advising clients from around the world in relation to a wide variety of trade mark matters, from the selection of a new trade mark through to the filing of trade mark applications and the enforcement of trade mark rights against third parties. She also assists her clients in the cost-effective maintenance of existing trade mark portfolios, global settlement negotiations, and copyright, licence and assignment agreements.

Yvette has worked in the Intellectual Property field for over 30 years. Twenty of those years have been in the UK, with experience both in-house at Glaxo SmithKline and in private practice, including working at 2 of the 10 largest UK-based law firms, namely Hogan Lovells and Linklaters.

Away from the exciting world of trade marks, Yvette enjoys travelling, reading and gardening!

Addy Bridger BSc (Hons) MSc

Senior Attorney CTMA

Addy holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and a Masters degree in the Management of Intellectual Property. Addy also obtained a postgraduate certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Queen Mary University of London. After university, Addy spent a year in Osaka, Japan, working for an international IP law firm.

Addy is a registered UK and European trade mark attorney who deals with all aspects of trade marks, including clearance searches, filing and portfolio management, with particular expertise in managing international trade mark portfolios. She has extensive experience in prosecution and opposition before the UK and Community trade mark offices.

Addy is a member of the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and sits on the CIPA Trade Mark Committee.

Jamie Sala BSc (Hons) MSc

Trade Mark Attorney CTMA

Jamie began his career in-house for a leading health, beauty and consumer brand retailer. He has a first-hand understanding of the day-to-day issues that clients face, alongside experience in international brand management.

Jamie is a registered UK trade mark attorney and deals with all aspects of trade mark clearance, counsel and prosecution of UK, EU and international trade marks.

Jamie is bilingual (English/Spanish) and holds a BSc (Hons) in Microbiology and a Master’s degree in the Management of Intellectual Property from Queen Mary University of London.

Away from the office, Jamie enjoys fencing, outdoor sports, and travel.

Grace Mok

Trade Mark Attorney CTMA

Grace is an experienced Chartered Trade Mark Attorney. She began her IP career working in-house for a major Japanese chemical company before going into private practice to undertake her training. 

Grace helps a range of clients with all aspects of trade marks, including clearance searches, filing and prosecution, oppositions and cancellation actions, worldwide trade mark portfolio management, and enforcement actions. Grace holds a BA (Hons) in Law with Computing, a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC), various Postgraduate and Professional Certificates in IP and Trade Mark Practice, and an Intellectual Property Litigation and Advocacy Certificate. 

Grace is fluent in Cantonese and English and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Georgina Taylor

Trade Mark Attorney

Georgina joined Stratagem as an IP Manager in 2017, having previously worked at a Trade Mark firm in Cambridgeshire.

She studied English Language with Linguistics as an undergraduate and is a qualified CITMA trade mark Paralegal and CIPA patent administrator. She has also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law from Brunel University, a Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Law from Nottingham Law School and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.

Georgina has enjoyed working with brilliant clients in a number of industries, including food and drink, fashion, pharmaceuticals, software, sports and education and is very much looking forward to expanding this list as time progresses.
