Sarah is by background a Biochemist, having graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry. She particularly enjoys working on cutting-edge technologies in her field. After training with a well-established Private Practice Patent Attorney firm in London on a varied portfolio, Sarah spent five years working on commercialising inventions from NHS clinicians, specialising in education, invention harvesting, protection and building a platform from which to spin out new businesses. The true value of intellectual property motivates Sarah to develop IP strategies for new and emerging companies that will help them leverage their innovations, regardless of their technical field.   

Sarah has been working at Stratagem since 2011 and has assumed various roles, culminating in becoming CEO in May 2022. She encourages the adoption of the values of Stratagem in all aspects of both client-facing and internal work within Stratagem, centred on putting the client’s success at the heart of everything we do.

Rob graduated with a law degree from University College London in 1983 and qualified as a solicitor at Greenwoods in Peterborough in 1986. He spent his career as an employment lawyer before becoming Greenwoods' Managing Partner in 2009. Rob led Greenwoods on its mergers with Walker Wallis in Cambridge in 2012 and with central London firm GRM Law in 2018 to create Greenwoods Legal, where Rob is now Managing Partner.

Rob is passionate about leadership and the firm's values of respect, excellence, freedom, and fun.

Rob worships at St Peter's Church, Oundle. He is a keen runner and season ticket holder at Peterborough United.

In 2019 Rob became a Trustee of CBM UK, a charity which transforms the lives of people with disability, their families, and communities in the poorest places of the world.

Abigail joined Stratagem in 2005 and is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and European Trade Mark Attorney. She began her career in private practice, moving to ICI in 1999, taking on responsibility for various trade mark portfolios within the ICI Group and management of the domain name portfolio.

Since working for Stratagem, Abigail has provided strategic advice in the fields of trade marks, copyright, domain names and agreements to individuals, start-ups, SMEs and international companies, with the advice always being tailored to the business plan of each client.

Abigail has advised several acquisitions and disposals and is responsible for Agreement Management within Stratagem.

Now Head of Trade Marks, Abigail has also been involved in resolving many disputes and remains committed to resolving conflicts by agreement rather than taking a purely contentious line.

Known for her common sense and invaluable advice, Abigail is always willing to share her experience through training and presentations.

Sarah joined Stratagem IPM in 2017

Sarah graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Masters Degree in Biochemistry in 2002. Following the completion of her PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge, she trained in accountancy at the Cambridge office of EY. She gained her Chartered status (CA) in 2009. At EY, Sarah worked on the audits for a range of clients, from start-up Biotechnology companies to large multi-national organisations.

Following a year as Assistant Manager at EY, Sarah decided to move out of practice. She was appointed to the role of Director of Finance at an Outstanding Academy in the Cambridge area. Whilst Director of Finance, Sarah oversaw the integration of personnel and financial systems when the Academy grew into a Multi-Academy Trust, encompassing a number of other Secondary Schools in Cambridgeshire.

Anna is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has undertaken varied HR roles for many years.

After graduating, she completed the CPE and LPC at the College of Law and then worked in HR for three law firms in London, providing wide-ranging support to fee-earning departments. Following this, Anna held the position of HR Manager at Bedford School and subsequently joined Stratagem IPM, as Head of People, in June 2022.
